Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the game "Nyangdo" (the "Game") handles your information.
1. Information the Game collects itself
The Game has no account sign-up and does not use its own servers or analytics tools. The operator does not receive or store your personal information.
Game progress, settings, the cat names you choose and ad reward records are stored on your device. While you are signed in to Google Play Games they are also stored in the cloud (section 1-1). They are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
1-1. Google Play Games cloud save
When you open the Game, it tries to sign in to Google Play Games automatically (it does not ask). If you are not signed in, you can sign in yourself in Settings. While signed in, your game progress, wallet (Noms, etc.) and cat names are also stored in your Google Account's cloud as a "saved game", so you can continue on another phone or after reinstalling.
- Stored information: game progress, wallet, the cat names you choose, and your Google Play Games profile (display name and avatar; the Game uses the display name only to show it on the settings screen and does not store it or send it to the operator)
- Where it is kept: Google keeps it. The operator cannot see or receive it. It is sent over HTTPS, encrypted in transit.
- How to delete: uninstalling the app does not delete the cloud save. You can delete this game's data, or your Play Games account, from your Google Play Games profile or your Google Account (Data & privacy).
2. Information collected for ads (Google AdMob)
The Game uses Google's AdMob SDK to show rewarded ads. Through this SDK, Google collects the following information in the Game and uses it for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.
- IP address (may be used to estimate your approximate location)
- App activity (app launches, ad views and taps, etc.)
- Diagnostics (app start time, errors, etc.)
- Device identifiers: Android advertising ID, app set ID
This data is encrypted in transit. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Third parties (Google and its ad partners) may use cookies or identifiers to collect information when showing ads.
3. International transfers
| Recipient | Google LLC (USA) and Google's ad partners |
|---|---|
| Information | The information in sections 2 and 1-1 |
| When and how | Sent over the internet while you use the Game |
| Purpose | Ad serving, analytics, fraud prevention |
| Retention | As set out in Google's privacy policy |
| How to opt out | Delete your advertising ID as in section 4, or uninstall the app. Even without an advertising ID, basic information needed to show ads may still be sent. |
4. Turning off the advertising ID
You can delete or reset your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads. Menu names may differ slightly by device.
4-1. Ad consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see Google's consent form when they first open the Game. Personalized ads are processed on the basis of your consent. Some processing by Google and its ad partners relies on legitimate interests, which you can object to in the form. You can play without consenting, in which case only non-personalized or limited ads are shown. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under "Privacy Settings" in the Game's settings.
5. Retention and deletion
The operator does not store your personal information. Information on your device is removed as soon as you uninstall the app or clear its data. Information collected by Google is kept and deleted according to Google's policies. The cloud save remains after you uninstall the app; delete it as described in section 1-1.
6. Children
The Game is intended for users aged 13 and over. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your rights
Because the operator holds no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to give you access to, correct or delete. You can remove on-device data by uninstalling the app, and manage information collected by Google in your Google Account under Data & privacy and in your ad settings. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For any questions, please contact us below.
8. Security
The Game does not send personal information to the operator's servers. Transmissions by the ad SDK are encrypted.
